A June 24 panel in D.C. focuses on challenges in attracting and retaining employees amid changing immigration rules.

Businesses everywhere are navigating an evolving landscape as they try to meet their workforce needs amid rising costs, skill gaps and policy changes. This WisPolitics–State Affairs panel focuses on the challenges of attracting and retaining employees amid changing immigration rules.

Panelists include:

*Lucia Alonzo, a principal at Michael Best Strategies with expertise in the federal budget and employment issues. See her bio.

Mike Carney, president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

*Tara Watson, director of the Brookings Institution's Center for Economic Security and Opportunity, and author of The Border Within: The Economics of Immigration in an Age of Fear.

Pre-registration and pre-payment required. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. and the program runs from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The $39.50 fee includes breakfast.
