The Fitchburg Chamber Visitor + Business Bureau is proud to announce that the 2nd Annual Fitchburg Brewery Ride has raised $5,000 for Fitchburg's “Cycling Without Age” chapter! The 2026 ride sold out, with a 25% increase in riders from 2025. Cyclists from around Wisconsin and neighboring states took a tour of Fitchburg’s three breweries, The Great Dane Pub & Brewing Company, Delta Beer Lab, and Hop Haus Brewing Company, and enjoyed beer and food samples at each stop. The Ride is sponsored by Fitchburg Family Pharmacy and The Cesta, an Illuminus Company.

 

"We so enjoy hosting the Fitchburg Brewery Ride and were thrilled to see that folks from around the State traveled to participate this year,” said Angela Kinderman, President and CEO of the Fitchburg Chamber Visitor + Business Bureau. “It really highlights some of Fitchburg's best summer fun activity, biking our beautiful trails and stopping at our local breweries or other local businesses along the way. The fact that the ride helps to raise money for Fitchburg's Cycling without Age Chapter just means that biking and “feeling the wind in your hair" is now accessible for everyone regardless of age or ability.”

 

Cycling Without Age is a global movement dedicated to giving seniors and individuals with limited mobility the chance to experience the simple, profound joy of a bicycle ride. Aboard their specialized, comfortable trishaws, passengers get to feel the wind in their hair, reconnect with nature, and engage with their neighbors. Fitchburg’s Chapter is aiming to raise $25,000 for their own trishaw, trailer, and necessary equipment. The Fitchburg Brewery Ride is expected to continue in the future, with the 2027 event in early June.
