MADISON, WI — M3 Insurance has promoted Kelsey Stacks to vice president of sales, employee benefits. In this role, Stacks will lead sales strategy and execution for M3’s employee benefits (EB) division, with a focus on supporting sustainable growth, strengthening client relationships, developing sales talent, and fostering collaboration across the organization.

Kelsey understands what drives growth because she has experienced it firsthand as both a producer and a sales leader,” said Ryan Barbieri, executive vice president of employee benefits and partner at M3. “She knows how to bring together strong client relationships, disciplined sales practices, and talented teams to move our employee benefits business forward.”

Stacks joined M3 in 2016 through M3YOU, now known as the sales development program. She advanced to client executive in 2018 and quickly established herself as a leading new business producer while rapidly growing her book of business.

In 2023, Stacks was named a partner. She moved into sales leadership in 2024 as director of EB for M3’s Milwaukee office and was promoted to director of EB sales in 2025. In that role, she expanded her influence across the firm by leading sales support, market relations, training, and strategic initiatives for the EB sales team. She also worked closely with executive leadership to advance strategies focused on client growth and retention.

Stacks earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She holds the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist and Group Benefits Disability Specialist designations and is a Wisconsin-licensed life and health and property and casualty insurance agent.

Stacks serves on the C2 Solutions Board and the Health Payment Systems Advisory Board.
