Madison, WI - August 4, 2026  - The Madison Black Chamber of Commerce invites the community to experience the 11th Annual Madison Black Restaurant Week (MBRW), August 9–16, 2026. As one of the nation's first Black Restaurant Week initiatives, MBRW celebrates Black-owned restaurants, caterers, food trucks, dessert specialists, and culinary entrepreneurs throughout South Central Wisconsin while encouraging residents and visitors to support local businesses during National Black Business Month.

With participating businesses now announced, the community can begin planning its food tour, purchase advance tickets for the popular $5 Food Taste Jamboree, and prepare to vote for this year's Community Favorites Awards throughout the week.

"Madison Black Restaurant Week is an invitation to discover incredible food, to support local entrepreneurs, and to experience the rich cultures and traditions behind every meal," said Camille Carter, President and CEO of the Madison Black Chamber of Commerce. "Whether you're visiting a longtime favorite or trying a new restaurant for the first time, every purchase supports the more than 40 Black-owned food enterprises participating in this campaign during National Black Business Month."

The full lineup of participating restaurants, caterers, food trucks, bakeries, dessert specialists, and culinary businesses has been revealed. Participating MBRW restaurants and food businesses will feature exclusive menu items, signature dishes, and special promotions. Community Favorites Voting August 9–17, 2026 Community members vote for their favorite restaurants and culinary businesses across several award categories at https://bit.ly/VOTEMBRW. Voting opens at 2pm on August 9 and closes at 11:59pm on August 17.
